ALL programs include various skill levels of the features listed below. ALL playgroups participate in KidsPLAY!, LearnTogether, ReInvent in an eco-friendly environment.

KidsPLAY!
We strongly believe in providing a fun and safe environment for children to have the opportunity to PLAY!  According to Kenneth R. Ginsburg, MD,

"play allows children to use their creativity while developing their imagination, dexterity, and physical, cognitive, and emotional strength. Play is important to healthy brain development. It is through play that children at a very early age engage and interact in the world around them. Play allows children to create and explore a world they can master, conquering their fears while practicing adult roles, sometimes in conjunction with other children or adult caregivers". KidsPLAY! begins and ends each playgroup session, giving our playgroups a chance to learn life’s social graces while interacting with their peers in a secure, stimulating environment.  We help parents by providing a clean, well lit, earth friendly facility for your child to form first friendships, experience the FUN in art, science, & literature, and learn the pleasures of social interaction. Instead of weekly playdates where the parents rotate opening up their house and kitchen to a group of 4-5 children and their caregivers(and sometimes siblings), we provide a facilty full of clean, earth friendly toys and activities for playgroups to meet at on a weekly basis. As an added source of comfort, our programs are developed and run by NJ certified teacher, and stay at home mom of three, Patty Crowdell. 

ReInvent!
We promote fun, eco-friendly programs for children such as arts and crafts time with recycled  household products encouraging imaginations  and creativity to take over, i.e. a paper towel roll is transformed into a pirate’s telescope or a musical instrument, a set of coffee cans become stilts, an old sock becomes a useful planting tool for gardening.   We will discover the facinating world of environmental science as well, working on projects with young ones that educate them about the world around us, while stimulating the desire to want to protect our earth and its inhabitants.

EcoFriendlyFun
We pride ourselves in being the first children's program in the area to promote an earth friendly facilty. From the toys and play equipment, to the cleaners and paper products, greenKidsPLAY! is proud to offer an an inventory of toys and play equipment that have been hand picked based on their materials, and their guarantee to promote imagination and creativity. We are earnest in our efforts to ensure our children's program leads by example, and also educates our young on the importance of protecting our resources.

There are benefits to joining an eco-friendly playgroup that go beyond the obvious enrichment for the children.  Joining greenKidsPLAY! also provides the caregivers the opportunity to meet others that share the same lifestyle choices or desire to learn about "going green", in terms of parenting, for our environment.  While the young ones play by our knees, caregivers can swap organic recipes and earth friendly resources.
